What is TennisPoint.com?

TennisPoint.com is a site for tennis players - serious tennis players and recreational players. Are you a USTA and/or ALTA captain — then you will massively benefit from the advanced team management functionality at TennisPoint.com! If you play on one of the many great “Flex leagues”, then you will enjoy one of the exciting features we are working on to help streamline the whole scheduling process, which can become rather tedious with emailing/phoning working to match everyone’s schedules!

Everyone can track their matches outside of league play. For instance, if you and your friends are playing matches, start tracking the results of those matches to be able to brag and back it up!

What tennis leagues are supported?

Presently right now we support the team management of USTA & ALTA (organized schedules) matches. This includes the adult, junior, senior and wheel chair leagues for USTA & ALTA. We are also in private testing for streamlining the management and scheduling of Flex Leagues - K-Swiss, T2Tennis, USTA Flex, Peach Tennis, LeagueTennis, World Team Tennis, etc. If you are interested in being a part of our private testing please send us an email.

Who created TennisPoint.com?

TennisPoint.com was created by tennis captains after using other tools (some online and then just good spreadsheets) and believing their was a better way. Think of us as tennis captains and enthusiasts with a serious technology side — we like to employ technology to help streamline tedious or complicated “things”. Heck, we have even done just that in the past for fortune 500 companies (UPS, MCI, etc) and built large enterprise systems which scaled to millions of users.

What Languages do you presently support?

Presently the site is written in English and the calendars/dates are formatted for western culture. The site could definitely be used to manage teams outside of North America and we have plans to port the site to other languages including Spanish, French & German. Feel free to drop us a note if you would like to help port the language.

Is it really free right now - come on what is the catch?

Yes, right now it really is free for all to use. We are analyzing the correct pricing structure and will hopefully have a couple of different options — granted our goal is to still have a free version that will be advertising subsidized and another option that will have even more functionality.

It is very easy to kill a site with LOTS of advertising! We believe that the functionality should streamline and simplify your tennis team management, give you tips from great content and benefit from some minimal advertising by great companies.

What are the system requirements to use TennisPoint.com?

We host TennisPoint.com on our servers so you don’t have to install any software. All you need is a modern up to date browser. TennisPoint.com does use many advanced technologies to make the user experience even better and the newer browsers are required for this. We support Internet Explorer 6+ on PC and prefer FireFox 1.5+ on the Mac and PC. Javascript and Cookies must be enabled on the browser (always on by default and would ONLY be turned off if you did so).

Where are the TennisPoint.com Servers?

TennisPoint.com servers are hosted in an enterprise class data center which has battery backups, diesel generators, secure racks, biometric access control and more bandwidth than most could ever imagine. The data center has 4 separate providers to ensure that the bandwidth is always available with LOTS of speed! Is some of this over the top, maybe but it helps us sleep at night ;o)

Will you share or sell my data?

We take the privacy of our users very serious. We never sell the information, nor do we publish any of your personal contact information on your player profile. We even give you the ability to not publish your player profile, but most want to brag about their stats so they do publish them.
